Western Bahr El Ghazal state member of parliament called on different stakeholders and well-wishers to assist Khor Hajar Boma residents affected by recent floods in Dam Zubeir Payam in Raja County.
Pasquale Francis Fama suggested opening donation box to support people displaced by floods in the area, Voice of Hope reported.
He urged local and international NGOs, government agencies and well-wishers to end the suffering of local people by urgently rendering humanitarian assistance.
Mr Francis described health situation in the area to be deteriorating since the only Health Centre was washed away by floods.
He lamented that the UNICEF’s built classes were at the verge of collapsing, calling for quick intervention.
Mr Francis also called on people living in Wau to assist their sisters and brothers in Khor Hajar Boma with little things they have.
