Sudan Revolutionary Front faction of the SPLA-North claimed that its forces on Saturday captured Kamrek military camp in Blue Nile state.
Kamrek is located in Bau County 36 km west of Damazin.
SPLM-N Spokesman, Arnu Ngatulu Lodi said the camp fell after serious fighting that left ten Sudan Armed Forces or SAF soldiers death and more than 30 wounded.
He said no casualties were reported on their side.
Mr Ngatulu also claimed that SPLA-N captured SAF’s vehicle, a number of ammunitions and destroyed other two vehicles mounted with machine guns.
