National Assembly elects Rundial new speaker

The national Legislative Assembly members on Monday unanimously elected Mannasseh Magok Rundial as their new speaker.
 
Rundial from Unity state was unanimously endorsed confirming speculations that President Salva Kiir was mobilizing the parliament to elect him.
 
A reliable source told CRN that the parliament elected Mark Nyipuoch Ubang the former Governor of Western Bahr El Ghazal as deputy speaker and  Yasmin Samuel from Western Equatoria as second deputy.
 
The former deputy speakers as Daniel Awet Akot and Fatima Nyawang Biliu resigned from their positions and are now ordinary MPs.
 
The Assembly is expected to reshuffle the specialized committees.
