Real reconciliation in Jonglei has to start only from grassroots to prepare the ground for the National Reconciliation Commission.
Malakal Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Roko Taban Musa told CRN in Khartoum that the Catholic Church and other denominations on the ground can start addressing theroot causes of the persistent conflict in Jonglei.
He said Christian communities in Jonglei have to start addressing the root causes of problems and explore possible solutions.
Monsignor Taban was speaking to CRN reporter in Khartoum during the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference annual plenary.
