The Current Constitutional review process was disconnected from the people of South Sudan.
Democratic Engagement and Monitoring Program Secretary-General Merekaje Lorna said the country needs a people’s driven constitutional review process unlike the present executive led process.
She said South Sudan chose constitutional conference with members elected by the President compared to processes where members were elected at the grassroots in other nations.
Ms Lorna said the process was tagged to the President.
She was speaking during a constitutional dialogue on Friday organized by Sudd Research Institute in Juba.
