Trade Union trains journalists on unionism

South Sudan Trade Union on Monday started a two-day journalists training workshop to boost their understanding on the importance of sharing ideas.
 
International Federation of Journalists or IFJ Programme Officer for Africa Louis Thomasi said the training was to help journalists and trade union workers exchange ideas, Bakhita radio reported.
 
He said the training will help journalists understand the importance of being members of their union.
 
Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS chairperson Oliver Modi said the workshop aimed at promoting relations between journalists and South Sudan Trade Union workers.
 
UJOSS in partnership with the IFJ organised the training.
