SPLA-North attacked two garrisons and killed a number of government forces last week in Gisan County of Blue Nile State.

SPLM-N spokesperson Arnu Ngatulu Lodi said their forces took control of two military garrisons in Gisan.

He claimed that their forces repulsed a counter-attack between Khor Albodi and Bashir-Nogo after capturing Dokan and Shumbo military garrisons.

Mr Lodi said in Shumbo garrison alone 14 government soldiers died compared to four SPLM-N soldiers.

Ngatulu claimed that another four SPLM-N soldiers were wounded in Dokan after a pierce fighting that left one SAF soldier death.

The Spokesman added that seven other SAF soldiers were killed when the SPLM-N soldiers pursued them up to Khor albodi.

He said the fighting was one of the SPLM-N’s greatest achievements since it took up arms against the government in Blue Nile.

CRN could not verify the claim.
