Morobo County Commissioner launches polio campaign

Morobo County Commissioner on Tuesday launched polio vaccination at the County Freedom Square.
 
Moses Simon Soro appealed to mothers to avail their children within the four days of immunization, Morobo Pressman reported.
 
He urged vaccinators to be professional in handling children’s health especially when vaccinating young ones. 
 
The Commissioner congratulated the entire people of Morobo County local chiefs, mothers and health agencies working hard to eradicate polio in the country.
 
The Polio Field Assistant Augustino Taban said the house to house vaccination targets almost four thousand children in the County from zero to five years of age. 
 
He said it was a joint responsibility to ensure that the targeted number is reached and completed to minimize polio outbreak threats reported at the neighbouring countries.
