The outside world greatly exaggerated the statement that South Sudan is number four among the failed states in its two years.

Christ the King Parish Priest Tom Poru Martin said international community exaggeration of South Sudan’s situation was tarnishing the image of the country, Emmanuel Radio reported.

He said attributed naming of South Sudan as a failed state to citizen’s lack of commitment to listen to the voice of God.

Fr Poru said people are doing things that do not please God.

He explained that nepotism, segregation, tribalism and conflicts, cattle rustling was the reward of bad attitude of some citizens who go contrary to God’s will.

Fr Poru asked Christians to put God first in their way and try their efforts to reach heaven through perseverance.
