Western Equatoria State Legislative Assembly members on Wednesday went for a three-month recess.
Speaker Bage James Elisa told the press that the MPs were going to their constituencies to know and later report problems to the assembly, Anisa Radio reported.
He said Assembly passed five bills in the last three months.
Mr James said the budget is pending in the assembly.
He said Western Equatoria Assembly was the second best after the national parliament during the Speaker’s forum last month.
Speaker Bage urged all MPs to go to their constituencies and not to stay in cities or travelling abroad.
The MPs are expected back for the first sitting on October 31.
