Tonj South Civil Hospital in Warrap State on Thursday started preparing for maternal care and tetanus vaccination campaign.
Tetanus Supervisor Marko Agur Malang said that Maternal Care and Tetanus vaccination will start on August 1, Don Bosco Radio reported.
Mr Malang urged women and girls to come for Tetanus vaccination from August 1 to August 7.
He said also that they will vaccinate children from zero to five years of age in Tonj Civil Hospital, Don Bosco and Indeed and Truth ministry and all the health facilities.
Women and girls from 15 to 49 years of age should get an anti-tetanus vaccine.
Mr Malang added that the women and girls who were vaccinated against tetanus need a second vaccine to be fully immunized.
Mr. Malang urged all the people of Tonj South to allow their women and girls to come for tetanus vaccination.
