Yei River County Commissioner warned foreigners against bringing conflicts from their countries to Yei, Central Equatoria and South Sudan.
Juma David Augustine said the county authorities discovered that some foreigners brought along their communities, societal and political conflicts into the county, Easter Radio reported.
He warned that county authorities will not tolerate foreigners to exercise their political differences in Yei.
Uganda’s community vice-chairperson Badaru Freda urged fellow foreigners to unite and follow the laws of the country.
She advised that foreigners entering South Sudan without legal documents have to explain themselves in the immigration office so that they are helped.
The two leaders spoke on Saturday after diplomatic meeting in Yei.
