Local Authorities in the Nuba Mountains region of South Kordofan welcomed the effort of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei or UNISFA to bring food and vaccines to their citizens.
Heiban County SPLM-N Political chairman Younan Albarout Ajour told Voice of Peace that the leadership accepted to stop hostilities to create corridors for humanitarian aid.
He added that SPLM-N is ready for peace if Sudan accepts the final solution to end conflicts.
Mr Albarout appealed to UNISFA and the international bodies to fulfill their promises and bring comprehensive peace to Sudan.
