Capacity Building Project donates equipment to Juba University

South Sudan Capacity Building Project donated to the University of Juba assorted equipment worth 40 thousand US dollars equivalent to 168 thousand South Sudanese Pounds. 
 
University’s Principal, Professor Wani Sule received the equipment including laptops, printers, photocopiers, electronic accessories and furniture.
 
He said the equipment would be used in the Colleges of Management Sciences, Natural Resources, Environmental Studies and Social and Economic Studies.
 
The acting Labour and Public Service Minister Kwong Danhier said the government was keen to transform the university into a ‘centre of excellence’ to produce quality manpower to meet development needs.
 
South Sudan Capacity Building Project Coordinator Peter Juma said the project was committed to support the University in reviewing the curriculum of the School of Management Sciences and train three teaching assistants in Master’s programmes.
 
He revealed that the Project would sponsor three university’s teaching assistants on masters degree studies in  East African universities.
