The office of agriculture at Amdurdu Administrative Unit in Heiban County, Nuba Mountains, began distributing seeds on Tuesday.
Amdurdu Agricultural Committee head Utura John Lalu said the seeds were released by the Heiban County office of agriculture.
He explained that people were receiving five types of seeds and some cartons of soap and plastic sheets.
Mr Lalu expressed that soap and plastic sheets were not sufficient.
He said seeds were adequate to all community.
Mr Lalu asked people of Amdurdu to plant the seeds they received.
He told them not eat the seeds because they were poisoned.
