The Dean Board of the University of Bahr El Ghazal on Monday resolved to open the institution on July 15 with the registration of first year students.
Academic Secretary Kuol Pal Deng told Voice of Hope that registration for all first year students in all colleges will end on July 30.
He added that a one-month intensive English course for first year students will start on July 31.
Dr Pal disclosed that supplementary and substitute exams for the other classes will start on September 5 and end on September 20.
The results are expected to be out on September 27.
Dr Pal said registration of senior classes of all colleges starts on September 11 and ends on September 26.
He explained that lectures will officially start on September 30.
Dr Pal said tuition fees are determined according to the various colleges.
He revealed that students will pay their tuition fees and accommodation as the university cannot afford all running costs due to the austerity measures hitting the country.
Dr Pal apologized to the public about the delay and attributed it to the austerity measures.
He called upon all the students to resume their studies normally.
