A charity organisation is creating hygiene clubs in Tonj South County of Warrap State to promote cleanliness.
World Vision Hygiene Team Leader Gabriel Maliet said he wanted residents in the county, payams and bomas to keep clean, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He added that he visited Tonj Civil Hospital, Wanalel and Thiet payams to form hygiene clubs to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness.
Mr Maliet urged all the people to keep hygiene and use clean water because protection is better than cure.
The Hygiene Team Leader advised cooks to cover their hair with a cloth while preparing food at restaurants.
Mr Maliet advised parents, guardians and teachers to promote hygiene at home and at school.
