Hundreds of people in Abu Korshala town, South Kordofan state were reported killed by the government security after the Sudan Revolution Front or SRF rebels withdrew from the area.
A reliable source said Sudan Armed Forces killed many civilians including men, women and children for not fleeing when the SRF forces captured the town.He saidÊ continuous air attacks in the area also led to death of many residents.
The source said the most affected villages in Abu Korshala included Kalenj, Amkitera and Shamsheka.
