The reconstruction of the Yei-Morobo road started this week to improve transport and economic relations with Uganda.
United Nations Operation on Project Services or UNOPS senior project engineer Gaudencia Sikombe told Radio Easter that the agency will start working on the bad spots to ease traffic follow between the two counties.Yei River Assistant Commissioner for Roads and Bridges Engineer Bullen Pitia Abraham confirmed that the road rehabilitation will boost agriculture and provision of social services to the citizens.
The 53-kilometre UNOPS road project costs 1.2 million US dollars, funded by USAID.
