Wau High Court set free two people involved in cases related to Wau December’s violence.
The court on Monday read the charges pinned against 21 suspects and announced the sentence freeing two of them.Joseph Peter and Thomas Morris were freed of six charges, while the remaining 19 requested the court to hear from their witnesses.
The 21 suspects were charged with six offenses.
The suspects include State MPs, former Commissioner Luka Anthony Obor, a civil servant, and a number of youths accused of participating in the deadly protest, destruction of properties and inciting violence.
The hearing of the witnesses was scheduled for Wednesday.
