Tombura County Commissioner on Wednesday met with elders to discuss allegations of tribal conflicts among communities.
Babiro Charles Gbamisi explained that the communities of Tombura County are scared of the rumours of tribal conflicts in the area, Radio Anisa reported.He cautioned against spreading groundless information.
Community representative Andrea Baame denied allegations that the Arrow Boys were behind the conflict.
Kinia Boma Sub-chief John Otto blamed the Payam administrations and the traditional leaders for letting tensions happen.
Tombura parish priest Santo Gaba appreciated the Commissioner for calling such a vital meeting.
He condemned the impacts of tribal conflict adding that the instigators are to be identified and brought to book individually.
The meeting drew more than 150 participants among traditional and church leaders, youth, women and other members of the communities in Tombura County.
