Civil servants working at Morobo County started on Monday an intensive course on basic computing skills to strengthen their working capacities.
The course was organized by Morobo County Administration in collaboration with GIZ, a German government development partner.County pressman Data Moses told CRN via e-mail that the training was another step to implement Morobo County Commissioner Moses Simon Soro’s policy statement.
Mr Soro prioritized the introduction of computers in all County offices and to equip the staff with basic office application computer skills.
The first batch of trainees has over 15 participants.
They are learning during five days how to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
