One woman from Kauda, in Nuba Mountains, was injured in Mendi with shrapnel from a bomb dropped by a Sudanese military Antonov on Thursday.
Amal Musa, 25, said she went to Mendi to collect mangoes due to hunger in Kauda.She added that the Antonov dropped six bombs in Mendi and she suffered injuries in her leg.
Ms Musa is receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
She called upon the Sudanese Government and SPLM-North to end hostilities and bring peace to the Nuba Mountains region.
The Khartoum regime has been bombarding civilians in the Nuba Mountains region since June 2011 when the conflict with the SPLM-North started over state elections results.
Continuous aerial attacks worsened the humanitarian situation in Nuba Mountains with massive displacement and famine.
