The department of Health in Kapoeta East County has launched a 21-day campaign for massive distribution of treated mosquito nets to combat malaria in the area.
The officer in charge of mosquito nets distribution, Thomas Koteen, told journalists that a charity organization donated 8,800 treated mosquito nets for the anti-malaria campaign, Radio Emmanuel reported.He said that every household in the county will get one treated mosquito net.
Mr Koteen added that over 400 personnel were trained by the organization to carry out the mosquito nets distribution process.
