Tonj Deputy Mayor urged traders who are sleeping in the market to make a house to sleep in outside the market.

Machar Ater told Don Bosco Radio that he wanted all traders sleeping in the market to make ahouse or rent a room to sleep.

Mr Ater said some traders were sleeping in the market with their children.

He added that the movement of children in the market increased stealing.

Mr Ater announced that whoever was found sleeping in the market – traders or children – would be taken to the Police.

He added that on Monday around 10:00 AM he wanted no children in the market but in school.

Mr Ater also told the traders to keep their places clean.

He urged parents and guardians to send their children – both boys and girls – to school for a better life.
