Staff from the Department of Education in Yei River County, Central Equatoria state, toured primary schools in five payams to reduce the rate of school dropouts and make awareness on HIV AIDS.
Supervisor for Girl Child Education in Yei River County Agnes Roba told journalists while in Jombo Primary school that the tour was aimed to inform pupils on dangers of dropping out from school, Radio Easter reported.She appealed to all pupils to take education as priority to enable them to have a better future.
The awareness campaign started on Saturday and will run for two weeks in all the five Payams.
