Thirty five members of Jur River County Legislative Council in Western Bahr El Ghazal were sworn in on Friday.

County commissioner John Arop expressed his unhappiness about the postponement of last week’s swearing ceremony due to lack of organization, Voice of Hope reported.

He said those who worked against the government’s programs and plans were enemies and the government would deal away with them.

Mr Arop called on the government to fully address the problems of the new allocated county headquarters.

Deputy Governor Mourice Yel Akol thanked the community of Jur River County for responding to the government’s call to move the county’s headquarters to Nyenakok.

He congratulated the community for raising funds for the opening of the new county headquarters.
