UNMISS, the UN Mission in South Sudan, organized a one-day dialogue with local organizations in Upper Nile State.
UNMISS Upper Nile State Coordinator Debora Chen said the peacekeeping mission was ready to serve South Sudan and support the State to build peace and protect citizens from violence besides achieving democracy, Voice of Love reported.State Gender and Social Welfare minister Jacqueline Jawel said the local organizations should encourage and support the state to develop peace and conflict resolution as well as good governance.
She added that the local organizations should cooperate with UNMISS and be active in implementing projects.
Ms Jawel urged the local organizations to help the government to plan for the good of the communities.
