A delegation of businessmen led by a Qatari prince met Central Equatoria Governor and expressed interest to invest in energy and hospitality sectors.

Al Faisal Holding Chairman and CEO Prince Sheik Faisal Bin Qassim al Thani said his company would like to invest in electricity and hotels.

He explained that energy was the driver of economic growth.

Governor Clement Wani Konga said Central Equatoria was the springboard for development in South Sudan.

He added that the state Government was ready to cooperate with Al Faisal Holding and allocate land for the five-star hotel it wants to build in Central Equatoria.

He urged Al Faisal Holding to write a letter of intent and have its representative in Juba for the state Government to work out the way forward.
