MONGOLIA PRESIDENT VISITS SOUTH SUDAN

The President of Mongolia was in South Sudan to visit 850 Mongolian soldiers serving in UNMISS, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan.

Government spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin told the press that President Salva Kiir received his Mongolian counterpart Tsakhia Elbegdorj at Juba International Airport Friday morning.

President Elbegdorj visited the Mongolian forces stationed in Bentiu, Unity State, and Rumbek, Lakes State.

President Elbegdorj of Mongalia was the first Asian head of State to visit South Sudan.
