The Catholic Bishop of Yei has on Friday called on Catholic faithful to be bold in their faith and stick to the teachings of the Church and to the sacraments.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe condemned the unfaithful act of some Christians converting from one religious denomination to another, Easter Radio reported.He told the congregation celebrating the feast of Saint Bakhita at Saint Bakhita Chapel that Christians who keep on changing from denomination to denomination lack faith commitment.
Bishop Lodu reiterated that Christians should believe in Jesus, the way, the life and the truth, by neglecting some preachers who pretend to be telling the truth but are misleading Christians.
He added that Christians should maintain the promises of their baptism and not to put in mind that baptism is received for earthly riches.
Bishop Lodu emphasized that there is only one God and one baptism is recognized by the Almighty God.
