Lack of trained teachers is affecting education in Yei River County.
Saverio Dalura Bandi is the principal of St. Joseph Primary School in Lutaya-Yei. He told Radio Easter that his school was facing a number of problems including untrained teachers and headmasters.Fr Dalura explained that last year the Government was supplying and paying the teachers at St. Joseph Primary School but this year it took the teachers away leaving the administration with a big problem.
He said St Joseph is a private school but in the future the Government will benefit from its students and it should assist the school.
Fr Dalura made the statement after a Parents and Teachers Association meeting on Saturday.
