Yei River County Department of Labour and Establishment started issuing labour cards in collaboration with Central Equatoria ministry of Public Service and Labour.
The cards aim to address labour related issues between employees and employers in the state, Radio Easter reported.Yei River County officer in charge of Labour, Juma Isaac Lomoro, on Friday explained that the main objective is to identify and guarantee rights of employees in a specific Government, Non Governmental or private institutions.
Mr Lomoro disclosed that the continuous exercise was to be renewed every three months.
The official called on the population to embrace the spirit of cooperation to tackle labour related matters in the county.
