More than 25 people from different parishes and denominations are attending a workshop on the review of the South Sudan Transitional Constitution in Yambio.
The Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio in collaboration with the Catholic Relief Service (CRS) organized a two-day workshop to train religious core-group members to moderate group discussions and follow-up, Anisa Radio reported.CRS facilitator Joseph Ohide said the moderated group discussions were expected to engage the grassroots to brainstorm about reviewing the Transitional Constitution.
Mr Ohide said the religious core-group members will compile the comments to be shared with other people at higher level.
He called on the participants to effectively participate, collaborate, share and brainstorm during the function.
Mr Ohide appreciated the representation of women, describing it as a good gender balanced gesture and crosscutting of various denominations.
CRS so far engaged in information sharing during the past elections, the referendum and now the Transitional Constitution using the Church Network in South Sudan.
