BISHOP CALLS FOR CALM IN WAU

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wau has called for calm and urged the faithful to respect lives, human dignity and follow the Christian principles.

Rudolf Deng Majak said Wau is going through hard times of chaos, looting, burning and loss of properties and lives.

The Bishop urged citizens to respect the birth of Jesus and respect God spirit in human lives, while appealing to the faithful to check their consciousness.

Bishop Deng called on the people of Wau to get prepared for the birth of Jesus Christ through prayers and abstain from evil practices happening in Wau,

He said the faithful should ask for forgiveness from God.

He prayed for peace and reconciliation in the World especially in Wau in the coming new Year.

Bishop Deng appealed to citizens of Western Bahr El Ghazal State to move back to the ways of faith and repentance.
