Hundreds of civil servants in Yei River County on Thursday morning demonstrated for unpaid arias of the months of September, October, November and December 2009.

The Commissioner of Yei River County, Juma David Augustine said the Government is committed to ensure that all the staff are paid their four months arias.

He also called on the civil servants to be patient and resume work as soon as possible.
Yei Workers Trade Union Chairman, Scopas Lasuba Elia said workers are worried over their delayed arias.
He called on the Government to pay their arias as they had been patient since 2009.
The demonstration drew together more than nineteen different departments in the County.
