The Bishops of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan (ECS)Ê on Tuesday held a meeting in Maridi town, Western Equatoria State to review the annual Church activities in all the Dioceses.
ECS Rumbek Bishop Alphayo Manyang De Kuctiel said the meeting also discussed the Church status in the Sudan, Good News Radio reported.He explained that the meeting discussed the activities the church should carry out, without elaborating the activities.
Bishop Alphayo also they are given internal province that allows them to have a small Archbishop who will be temporarily a bishop of the Episcopal Church of Sudan.
He said Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul told all the ECS bishops in 31 dioceses to work for peace in their own regions.
The meeting was attended by all the bishops of the ECS both in South Sudan and Sudan.
