The Centenary Cross has completed touring all the 16 Parishes in a colourful celebration on Sunday in Mupoi Parish.
The Catholic Bishop of Tombura Yambio, Edwardo Hiiboro Kusala will preside over the Eucharistic Celebration.The deputy chairperson for the Centenary Commission, Monoko Leone Rudolph told Anisa Radio that the Centenary Cross is now kept in one place waiting for the celebrations to begin from December 5 to December 12, 2012.
He added that there were many faithful testimonies where one crippled woman walked up and many others surrendered their witchcrafts to follow Jesus.
Mr Leone said preparations in Mupoi are completed, and that now the Parish is ready to receive its guests for the celebrations.
He said renovation of Tombura airstrip by the state government has also been done smoothly.
Mr Leone explained that all Parishes have cleared their places before departure except Li-Rangu Parish adding that many people have started the journey to Mupoi.
