Tonj South County Commissioner has decreed a three-day cleaning campaign in Town starting from on Thursday.
Tonj Deputy Mayor Valentino Machar Ater told Don Bosco FM that the Commissioner wanted the entire main road going through Tonj to be cleaned until Saturday.He said the cleanup operation started at the county headquarters new office area.
On Friday the cleaning concentrates around the Catholic Church and Tonj Civil Hospital areas.
The cleanup ends on Saturday from the roundabout of Wau Road to the airstrip.
Mr Machar urged all residents and officials to take part in the general cleaning operation.
He told each family to keep the areas around the house clean.
