Lack of teaching materials is hindered learning in six Payams of Twic County, Warrap state.
Aweng Payam Education Supervisor told Internews that his Payam was the most affected.Aweng Primary School head teacher chian Juok Chum, appealed to the state Ministry of Education and UNICEF to respond to the needs of the schools in the county.
Twic County Education Director Augustine Deng Chuor said Education Department will coordinate with UNICEF for the provision of school materials.
He added that his department will try to supply teaching materials despite of austerity measures that are affecting the delivery of most basic services in the area.
