Lakes State SPLM Chairman has urged the entire community in the State to be in peace with one another.
Daniel Awet Akot told the media on Thursday evening at Rumbek airstrip that only peace brings unity and understanding, Good News Radio reported.Mr Awet said he went to Juba to consult the top leadership and have a general meeting with the assembly leadership and the President.
Mr Awet said the appointment of the SPLM State secretary was not yet completed.
He added that he returned to Lakes State to complete the process.
Mr Awet, who is also the National Deputy Speaker, complained that local party officials boycotted his earlier visit to the state.
