Priests in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba have received this morning elaborate enlightenment on the national transitional constitution review process.

Coordinator of Peace and Justice in the Archdiocese of Juba, Angelo Lokoyome told Bakhita Radio that priests are enlightened to understand the constitution as part of the community.

Mr Lokoyome explained that it is important to enlighten priests because they are leaders and can enlighten the congregations in their various Parishes.

He added that priests would help many people understand what the current constitution is.

Priests suggested that they should be updated on the constitution review process at least once a month.

Over 20 priests and staff from the Archdiocese attended the enlightenment.
