Two children at Muruban village in Umdarain Locality, Nuba Mountains have been injured in land mine blast on Tuesday.
The children were playing in the bush when a 7 years old child got the mine and passed it to a 12 years old boy who struck it resulting to explosion.Timathous Ismail Jigir, a father to one of the children explained that one child got injured in the face, the second child was injured on the head had three fingers cut.
Mr. Ismail appealed to the Local Authority to remove the mines in the bushes for civilians’ safety.
