JUBA AUTHORITIES CHECK ON LODGES WITHIN RESIDENTIAL AREAS

Juba City Council authorities are checking on lodges and restaurants built illegally within residential areas in the capital.

Deputy Major David Lokonga told Bakhita Radio that his office was dispatching councillors to the three payam of Juba, Kator and Munuki to identify illegal commercial buildings in residence areas.

He said the City Council will take measures against illegal constructions inclosing confiscation of plots.

Mr Lokonga called on members of the community to work hand in hand with the quarter councillors to maintain the tTown clean.

The City Council on Wednesday started inspecting illegal dumping sites of solid waste on public places in Juba.
