The headmaster of Rumbek National Secondary School revealed that the issue of uniforms at the institution was solved.
Abel Manyoun Juk told Good News Radio that 1,700 uniforms were brought for 1,700 students.He said the uniforms were not enough for all students.
Mr Juk added that students who did not get the new uniform could dress old black trousers and a white shirt.
He commented that the national secondary school imposed some discipline and the students were calm.
Mr Juk said feeding was an issue at national secondary school.
He said WFP provides one per day for the students but the administration needs 300 pounds to grind cereal and buy wood for cooking every day.
Mr Juk said the ministry promised to contract private companies to feed the students.
The headmaster explained that he had to contract 16 part-time teachers to fill the gaps in the daily timetable and now needs help to pay them.
Three weeks ago, the school administration and the students had a row over the issue of lack of uniforms.
