14 REFUGEES GRADUATE IN MECHANICS, DRIVING

14 Congolese Refugees on Monday graduated as mechanics and received driving licenses in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.

Italian humanitarian organization INTERSOS sponsored 12 boys and two girls for a three-month Driving and Mechanics Course in Yambio, Anisa FM reported.

INTERSOS livelihood Coordinator, Elinama George Kosta, explained that the NGO sponsored the 14 Congolese youths to promote self-reliance among the refugees community.

He urged the graduates to use their skills and look for a job to earn their living.

Best female graduate Saburu Atanasi appreciated INTERSOS for the sponsorship and the trainers for their friendly explanations during lessons.

Best male graduate Tameko Kiaroyombata demonstrated his newly acquired talents to operate machines and drive a car.

The 14 Congolese youths came from Makpandu and Ezo refugee camps.
