The Governor of Western Bahr El Ghazal on Monday issued three decrees and two state orders relieving and appointing new county commissioners and state advisors.
Raja and Jur River County commissioners were changed and Wau Municipal Mayor and deputy were appointed, Voice of Hope reported.Wau County and Headquarters commissioners kept their positions.
The state order appointed Michael Gaeba Ukel as mayor of Wau Municipality. Kamil Wana Orac is his deputy.
Livio Gelego Bahara was relieved from the position of state secretary general and appointed as advisor for essential service affairs.
There were also new advisors for security affairs, peace and reconciliation, political affairs, gender and minors affairs, decentralization and rural transformation and boundaries and inter-communal affairs.
Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan said during the oath ceremony on Tuesday that the advisers got the job for their political and education backgrounds to deliver essential services to the citizens.
He ordered the commissioners of Wau and Jur River to move their headquarters to Bagari and Nynakok areas to leave room for the Wau mayor to work.
