The Parish Priest of St Theresa’s Cathedral in Kator, Juba, has called on the faithful to follow the good example of St Theresa of the Child Jesus who sacrificed herself for the service of God since she was a child.
Thomas Igga, who presided this morning’s Holy Mass to celebrate the cathedral’s patron saint, told the congregation that they should imitate St Theresa who lived a simple and valuable life.He said St Theresa lived 24 years on earth before her death.
Fr Igga said although St Theresa did not do great things on earth her simplicity was worth following.
A huge crowd attended St Theresa’s celebration at the Cathedral, including President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
