SECURITY HUNTS DOWN TINTED VEHICLES

Security personnel in Juba are tearing away tinted screens from vehicles glasses as security is tightening in the city amid high criminality rates in the capital.

Officers in plainclothes were deployed to spot and remove all plastic glass filters from vehicles circulating in Juba, Bakhita Radio reported.

A security officer – who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk – said the forces were instructed to search and removed tinted filters from cars to reduce crimes in Juba.

He explained that the search will continue for sometime.

The security personnel were also searching bags and any suspected luggage in the vehicles.

Recently, security forces killed one suspect and arrested a number of weapons from smugglers on the Juba-Bor Road.

They also arrested two suspects carrying hashish at the Nesitu Junction on the Juba-Torit Road.
