Nasir-Juba has won the national cup after beating Mereikh-Renk by two goals to one.
Nasir Juba Club captain Kin Emmanuel told Bakhita Radio that his team has been aspired by such results in order to participate in the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Cup.
He said Nasir Juba Club hoped to bring a good name to South Sudan after participating in the African competition.
Umar Abdallah, who trains El Mereikh-Renk, said he came into the team after the tournament had long started.
He expressed hope that Mereikh-Renk will do better if he stays longer with the team.
Wal Aldin Mohammed, coach for Mereikh-Renk, said the referee was not neutral.
The match was peaceful all along.
